Car and Truck Sp. z o.o. combines two things that rarely go together: hands-on experience in tachograph servicing and developing the software that powers that service.

I have been a tachograph technician for more than 15 years — and at the same time I write the software my own workshop uses. It's a rare combination: the program is built by someone who knows the job inside out, not by an outside developer with no contact with the workshop floor. I designed the TachoSoft system — from reading data from workshop cards, through generating certificates and calibration labels with QR codes, and integration with the Polish National e-Invoice System (KSeF), all the way to a mobile app with notifications.

Day to day I run my own business, and after hours I'm passionate about robotics, programming, electronics and HI-END audio systems. Among other things, I have designed electric vehicles, 3D printers and T-Line loudspeakers, and in 2016 I built Damian, a full-size humanoid robot that communicates in Polish and learns in real time thanks to an artificial intelligence algorithm of my own design.

Mensa Polska — the Polish branch of the international Mensa society, which brings together people with a high IQ. I have been a member since 2022. For me it is a community of people who enjoy solving hard problems — and that is exactly what designing good software and devices is for me.

Principles that work

Precision

A tachograph is a measuring instrument — there's no room for “roughly”. The same accuracy goes into the code.

Practice

Every feature of the program comes from a real workshop need, not from a list of buzzwords.
